Marketing Coordinator, Alpine Bike Parks Whistler, BC December 2012-Present
Alpine Bike Parks is a full-service design/build contractor specializing in bike parks and trail development. As Marketing Coordinator, my tasks include online/social media marketing, sales lead generation, website updates, writing press releases, updating sales collateral, and designing visual concept packages for clients.
Select Contracts provides global clients with turnkey solutions (design-build-operate) in the hospitality, leisure, and entertainment industry. As a graphic designer/video editor, I assist in branding and re-branding companies from basic logo design to full identity, as well as edit promotional videos for upcoming projects.
Photographer’s Assistant, Deep Summer Photo Challenge Whistler, BC July 2011
The Deep Summer Photo Challenge is a contest held during Kokanee Crankworx. Photographers have five days to shoot and edit together a slideshow depicting mountain bike culture. I assisted professional photographer John Wellburn on-location while shooting, and also assisted with putting together the final slideshow.
Sport Operations Crew, Kokanee Crankworx MTB Series Whistler, BC July 2011
As a volunteer in the Sport Operations crew, I was responsible for marshalling an assigned area on various mountain bike courses and reporting to the crew leader. My duty was to make sure that my area was up to course standards (eg. Clear of obstructions, flagging tape in it’s proper place) and to assist any athletes if they needed help or had questions.

RTOWN Communications is based in Whistler, British Columbia and broadcasts local advertising, news, weather, contests, and infotainment segments across Digital Signage and In-Room hotel network screens throughout Whistler, Vancouver, Banff and Tremblant. As graphic designer/video editor I was responsible for creating effective motion graphic and video advertisements for clients. I also assisted with the rebranding of the company in 2010.
Co-Creative Director, Function Magazine Toronto, ON September 2008-April 2009
Function Magazine is a “Guide to Visual Culture”. An annual art-book & DVD with content produced by the students of Ryerson University’s Image Arts programs. As Co-Creative Director I, along with 3 other students, helped lead the publication from inception to completion while introducing new design elements that the magazine did not have in the past.
Co-Creative Director, Portfolio Ten Toronto, ON September 2008-April 2009
Portfolio Ten is a limited edition book with content produced by the students of the Modern Movements/Issues in Photography course at Ryerson University. Another student and myself took the initiative to see that this book was of the highest quality, as it was the 10th anniversary of the book being published.

As an intern in the art department of Canada’s Fashion Magazine, I assisted with assembling each issue’s mock-up binder, archiving past issues, transcribing interviews and assisting with general tasks in the office.
